We have produced reports and documentation on aviation both for the general policy debate in the UK and globally and for public inquiries into airport expansion. We have detailed knowledge of this sector and its climate change impacts and we recommend a detailed evaluation of airport projects in terms of carbon footprints and climate change impacts and the scientific evidence that aviation is responsible for a bigger share of the global warming effect than admitted by the industry.
We have a particular interest in economic impact and in the exaggerated claims made by the industry for local and national economic impact and for job creation.
We have presented detailed evidence and reports on the economic impact including:
- The impact of aviation on the economy of the NW (for CPRE)
- The economic impact of Bristol Airport (for a local campaign group)
- The economic impact of the expansion plans for Stansted Airport (for the Stop Stansted Expansion campaign group
